Shoosty Bugs / An Art Infestation

April, 5th, 2025 - Jan. 4th, 2026 - Artist Stephen Shooster working under the name Shoosty creates a major art show in coordination with MoAS, The Museum of Arts and Sciences, in Daytona, Florida. Featuring 50 pieces of his work in three galleries including one gallery with floor to ceiling silk panels. Shoosty says he begins by writing, he calls it thinking on paper, this leads to fantastical images of bugs painted with the patterns of the world. Shoosty works in Scalable Vector Graphics, combining the latest technologies with the oldest material known to humans, silk. You have to see it to feel the full immersion of majesty of the art as it surrounds you.
